** Note:The House Rules Committee early Monday voted to move several bills originally on the Special Calendar (aka, the “active calendar”) to the House Calendar (aka, the “inactive calendar”). With 60 bills originally slated for 2nd reading on Monday, this move was done to balance out the calendar and help manage floor work ahead of the Wednesday “Crossover Day” deadline to get all House bills out of their house of origin. The Rules Committee is scheduled to meet at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, when they can move to place bills back on the active calendar.
